    Susan Larison may still sound like Yorkshire, England, but her real estate roots are firmly planted in Southern California. For more than 20 years, she has lived and worked here, building her reputation as a skilled and resourceful problem solver.
    If there is a "typical" route to real estate success, Susan didn't take it. In fact, she started her career moving houses"literally. Working with developers, she handled all of the permitting, protocols, scheduling and other details involved in relocating houses from development tracts to low-income areas.
    As her work evolved, she became an expert in land and commercial properties, representing individual and institutional clients throughout the region. In the 1990s, she focused on Real Estate Owned (REO) properties and soon established another specialty, Trust and Probate sales. "It's a different kind of real estate," she says. "I have sold properties everywhere. I've sold timber farms in Georgia, acreage in Kern County and multi-million houses in Beverly Hills. I've leased a wind farm and worked with clients that range from celebrities to energy companies."
       These days, Susan Larison is applying her considerable expertise to apartment and income property sales. While her interests are diverse, there is a consistent thread throughout all of her real estate work: a passion for property, a flair for innovative marketing and a terrific eye for details. "I believe in getting it done right the first time," she says, explaining that Teles Properties supports her ideals. "The management and staff is helpful, positive and energetic.     In addition to representing the interests of her many clients, Susan is devoted to the health of the community. She has been an approved mentor with Hollygrove Children's Home, is a sponsor of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, and supports Fisher House, a rehabilitation facility for U.S. soldiers injured in Iraq.
